#6 Bako National Park
Not far from Kuching is Bako National Park, the oldest National Park in Sarawak and one of my favorite places to visit in Malaysia, take a boat across the waters then decide on one of the many routes to explore, so many animals to be spotted including the proboscis monkey are endemic to Borneo, keep an eye out for the wild boar as well sporting and unkept beard make sure you look closely into the bushes you never know what you might find.
