Visit that k Kaymakli underground city, open for visitors in 1964, this fascinating multi-chambered underground city is the widest in Cappadocia, consisting of eight underground levels although only four are open to the public, it will still give you a chance to see how the inhabitants lived, one important tip is to make sure you watch your head when walking through, I’m literally sliding apparently up to 6 000 people could have lived in these caves or 6500 either way it’s still alive.
